SEC Welcomes Kristi Duplantis as Assistant VP of Human and Organizational Potential

Southern Electric Corporation of Mississippi, a Quanta Services company, is pleased to announce the addition of Kristi Duplantis as Assistant Vice President of Human and Organizational Potential. Duplantis brings extensive experience in safety leadership and organizational development, strengthening SEC’s commitment to a high-performing people-centered culture.

Duplantis previously served as District HSE Coordinator for MMR Group, providing safety leadership, risk assessment guidance, and regulatory compliance oversight. Her background includes roles as a Safety Manager with Power and Control Systems, as well as significant service as a Paramedic and EMS Instructor with Acadian Ambulance Services. She also spent over a decade as a high school teacher and coach, developing students both academically and athletically.

She holds multiple degrees including a Master of Educational Leadership, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health from Nicholls State University as well as an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from South Louisiana Community College. Duplantis is also a Nationally Registered EMT-Paramedic and holds COSM, COSS, OSHA 10/30/500/510, ACLS, BLS, and NIMS 100b/700a safety certifications.

Duplantis and her husband are proud parents of three sons, and together they make their home in Raceland, Louisiana. Deeply committed to service, Duplantis continues to work part-time as a Paramedic with Acadian Ambulance and remains actively involved with the American Society of Safety Professionals. A true Louisianan, she embraces her local culture – especially Mardi Gras – and has spent the past eight years riding in Aphrodite, a women’s parade in Houma, LA, one of her favorite annual traditions.
