SEC Names Brantley Rogers Power Player for Q3 2026
Southern Electric Corporation (SEC) has named Brantley Rogers, of Richland, Mississippi, as its Power Player for the third quarter of 2026.
A Power Player is someone with integrity and high moral standards, possessing strong leadership qualities, a track record of safe production, and dedication to our company and industry, who is hard-working and represents SEC well in everything that they do, allowing us to Power Forward.
Brantley, Shop Manager for SEC, has been with the company for 11 years. His career with SEC began right out of high school as an equipment yard man. Through hard work, determination, and a willingness to learn, he worked his way into the shop as a mechanic, where he watched and learned the trade from those around him who took the time to mentor him. In November 2022, Brantley was promoted to Shop Manager.
For Brantley, the people of SEC – especially the team he leads – are what make the company feel like home. “My team is committed and very positive, and that’s important,” Brantley said. “It really feels like a big family.”
As Shop Manager, Brantley says the best part of his job is “being able to lead my team and providing the necessary equipment to keep our guys in the field safe and productive.” But his job isn’t without its challenges. For Brantley, time crunches can be one of the most demanding aspects of managing the shop. “Time crunches are probably the worst part – but somehow, we make it happen,” he said.
Brantley’s commitment to his team and SEC’s mission is something that has not gone unnoticed by company leadership. “Brantley is another perfect example of what a Power Player is and what SEC is all about,” said Dillon Roberts, Chief Operating Officer. “He never backs down, never says no, and is always willing to do whatever it takes to do his job and promote SEC.”
Born and raised in Richland, Brantley continues to call the community home. He and his wife, Allison, have two children, Dolly, 7, and Dallas, 1.
