SEC Announces Promotion of Clay Foster to Chief Financial Officer
Southern Electric Corporation of Mississippi, a Quanta Services company, is pleased to announce the promotion of Clay Foster from Controller to Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Clay has been an integral part of SEC since joining the company in 2013, and his experience and commitment to excellence make him exceptionally qualified for this crucial leadership role.
In his new position as CFO, Clay will continue to oversee the company’s accounting and financial operations, including oversight of the billing, accounts payable, and IT departments. His comprehensive understanding of SEC’s operations and his proven track record of success have more than prepared him to take on this expanded role.
Clay is a Certified Public Accountant, holding a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Mississippi State University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mississippi College.
Blake Everett, President of SEC, expressed his enthusiasm for Clay’s promotion: “For more than a decade, Clay has been a steady hand and a trusted voice in this company. His contributions have shaped not only how we operate financially, but how we show up for one another as a team. This promotion is more than a new title — it’s a reflection of years of sacrifice, hard work, and an unwavering belief in the future of this company. We’re incredibly lucky to have him stepping into this role, and even luckier to have him continue pouring his heart into our shared mission.”
Outside of work, Clay enjoys spending time with his wife, Amanda, and their three children: a 13-year-old daughter and two sons, ages 6 and 3. He also enjoys spending time in the outdoors fishing, hunting, and camping.
