Mike Shaw serves as Vice President of Fleet Operations for SEC, overseeing the company’s extensive fleet of equipment. Mike joined SEC in October 2025, bringing with him more than 16 years of experience in the heavy equipment and utility industries, including roles at Altec and Entergy.

Shaw earned a technical degree in Diesel Equipment Technology from Hinds Community College in 2006. His professional relationship with SEC, however, began while working for Altec while servicing SEC equipment and building a strong relationship with the company’s employees and leadership. Over time, SEC became one of his largest customers, and those early connections ultimately led him to join the team.

Shaw provides leadership and strategic direction for SEC’s fleet operations, helping support the company’s continued growth, operational efficiency, and commitment to maintaining a dependable, well-equipped fleet.

Shaw and his wife, Courtney, have been married for nearly 19 years and have two children, Patrick and Maddie. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, particularly fishing, boating, hunting, hiking, and cooking together.
